John Christensen

Mr. John Christensen is Financial Advisor at Blue Creek Investment Partners LLC.
He has considerable experience providing 401k and retirement plan benefits for businesses, but, as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER, his primary focus is on financial planning and investing for families, business owners, executives, and professionals.
Mr. Christensen began his career in financial services as a Trust Administrator and Document Review Specialist for National Advisors Trust, FSB in Overland Park, Kansas.
During his time there, he was exposed to many great financial planning firms and learned a great deal about successful intergenerational wealth transfers.
Later, in his work as a Strategic Advisor for a regional trust company, he helped business owners, executives, and professionals chart their financial goals and track their progress over time.
In addition to his client-service work, he makes time to serve his community.
He is a member of the Kansas City Rotary Club 13, the Donald H.
Chisholm Planned Giving Council of Children's Mercy Hospitals and Clinics, and the Kansas State Treasurers 529 Advisory Board.
Mr. Christensen earned his Bachelor of Arts at Hastings College with a double major in Business Administration and Economics.
He later received a Juris Doctorate and Certificate in Entrepreneurial Law from the University of Tulsa College of Law.
