Kelly Emery

Kelly is the Chief Operating Officer at the Financial Health Network, leading the organization’s Finance and Operations teams.
Her responsibilities include aligning internal operations with the organization’s strategic and business objectives, and scaling the organization’s operating model for exponential impact.
Her passion for building high-performing teams and developing future leaders, coupled with her experience translating vision and ideas into results, make her uniquely qualified to drive the organization’s long-term growth.
Prior to joining the Financial Health Network, Kelly served as the Chief Operating Officer at Heartland Alliance and as Vice President at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in finance from Kent State University and her MBA from DePaul University.
She also completed the Women’s Senior Leadership Program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
Outside of work, Kelly serves on the boards of Equality Illinois and the Equality Illinois Institute, nonprofits dedicated to advancing social justice and equal rights for the LGBTQIA+ community.
She enjoys discovering and enjoying the cultural richness of Chicago, visiting and dining in the city’s many diverse neighborhoods.
