Prior to co-founding BHMS in 2010, Mr. Kevin Angelis worked for Morgan Stanley investing in both distressed debt and private equity transactions.
In his last role at Morgan Stanley, Mr. Kevin Angelis was an Executive Director in the Special Situations Group ("SSGR") where he primarily worked with distressed portfolio companies.
Prior to SSGR, Mr. Kevin Angelis invested over $425 million in global private equity and venture capital as part of Morgan Stanley Principal Investments ("MSPI"), a $3 billion on balance sheet investing effort.
At MSPI, Mr. Kevin Angelis led the North American Energy investing practice and served as a Board of Directors member for portfolio companies.
Prior to MSPI, Mr. Kevin Angelis focused on middle market buyout and mezzanine opportunities at The Carlyle Group and American Capital.
Mr. Kevin Angelis began his career in the Consumer Products investment banking practice at Merrill Lynch.
Mr. Kevin Angelis graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Lafayette College with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics & Business and Government & Law.
