Michael Blank

Mr. Michael Blank, CFA, is an Investment Analyst at Egerton Capital (UK) LLP.
He is a Partner and a Member of the Management Committee.
Mr. Blank covers a range of sectors and companies, spending most of his time on the energy sector, including oil and oil service companies, utilities and renewables, auto companies, exchanges and interdealer brokers, and metals and mining.
Given the nature of his sectors, his coverage is global; Latin America has historically been a notable focus, across a number of sectors.
Mr. Blank spent three years at Goldman Sachs.
He was an Associate in the European telecom services team, which at the time, was one of the longstanding and most highly ranked telecom research teams in Europe.
During his time at Goldman Sachs, he covered the mobile phone operators and co-covered Vodafone and Deutsche Telekom.
He holds a BSc in Economics and Computing from City University, London, and an MPhil in Economics with Finance at the University of Cambridge in 2004/2005.
He became a CFA charter holder in 2004.
