Mr. Osman Semerci is a Managing Partner at EMEA Capital LLP.
He quit as Chief Executive Officer of Duet in December 2011 to establish EMEA Capital, but remains an Adviser for two years.
Prior to joining Duet in 2008, he spent 16 years at Merrill Lynch both in Europe and Asia, where he was a member of Merrill Lynch's Global Operating Committee.
Latterly, he was Global Head of Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities (FICC), responsible for the firm's trading and sales activities in fixed income, currencies, commodities, principal investments and real estate globally.
He also served as President of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Global Markets and Investment Banking.
Between 2005 and 2008, he ran Merrill Lynch's fixed income and equity trading and sales in Europe, Middle East and Africa, and from 2002 to 2005, in Japan, Asia and Australia.
Mr. Semerci holds a Master's degree in Management from Marmara University in Istanbul and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Bosphorus University in Istanbul.
