Paul Meyers

Paul Meyers is a serial entrepreneur and Asian digital veteran, building Asia's start-up ecosystem over the past 25+ years.
He has started and exited several companies – including a NASDAQ listing and an international trade sale - and has also raised tens of millions of dollars in venture funding.
Currently leading Asia Founder Coaching, Paul has deep experience and relationships with founders, investors and accelerators across the region.
As a recent Advisor at ADBVentures, Paul helped build the Asian Development Bank’s first emerging market impact fund.
Paul previously ran Telstra’s renowned muru-D early-stage accelerator program in Asia.
Prior to that, Paul was Southeast Asia Entrepreneur in Residence (EiR) for MOX - The Mobile Accelerator and has worked extensively as a mentor and advisor with Chinaccelerator, TechStars, Seedstars, 500 Start-ups, GSMA’s M4D, SheLovesTech, Founder Institute, Singapore Management University, and others.
Paul founded and ran Acme Mobile, Southeast Asia’s leading mobile game distributor (pre-AppStore), representing and selling the world’s best games via both B2B and B2C channels.
Acme’s proprietary micro-payment billing engine integrated directly with 16 regional telcos and provisioned over 60 other distribution channels.
Paul was also an early Asian Internet 1.0 pioneer, co-founding Asiacontent.com (NASDAQ: IASIA), where he was responsible for acquiring and building Asian versions of MTV, eOnline, Sports.com, DoubleClick and scaling the team from 20 to 650 across 8 countries.
Paul is a regular writer on start-ups, funding, acceleration and impact and is a popular teacher, speaker and moderator at live events around the region.
