Shea Fern Lim

Shea Fern brings varied experiences as a research scientist and diverse skills acquired through the completion of an MBA from the Melbourne Business School, Australia.
Prior to joining the Corporate Alliances team at Harvard OTD, Shea Fern was a Business Development Manager at Therapeutic Innovation Australia in the Small Molecule Therapeutics Capability.
She has postdoctoral experience as a research fellow at the Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MIPS), working on a collaborative project spanning medicinal chemistry and lymphatic drug delivery.
Her research activities focused on the design and synthesis of prodrugs that promote the transport of pharmaceutical agents to specific locations within the body.
She also previously held a postdoctoral research role at the University of Melbourne, Australia, working on radiopharmaceutical agents for cancer treatment.
Her doctoral studies focused on understanding the early stages of organic reactions involving carbon-selenium bonds by isolating and characterizing these reactive intermediates.
Shea Fern received her Ph.D.
in Physical Organic Chemistry and B.Sc.
in Chemistry from the University of Melbourne.
