Wojtek Kawczynski

Mr. Kawczynski joined the Ventures West team in 1999.
Mr. Kawczynski started his studies in Montreal where he did his B.Sc.
in biology (1992) at Concordia University followed by a M.Sc.
in molecular biology (1995) at McGill University.
In 1995 Mr. Kawczynski moved to Toronto with his wife where, prior to joining Ventures West, he worked at the University of Toronto in the department of Physiology and at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health.
Wanting to learn more about business, Mr. Kawczynski completed his MBA (2001) at the Schulich School of Business, specializing in the areas of Strategy and Finance.
Mr. Kawczynski currently serves as the Chairman of OncoDynamics Inc., as a director of NovaNeuron Inc., and as an observer of EMT Inc., INEA Corp.
and Necho Systems Corp.
He is also a co-founder and co-chair of CVCA´s Young Venture Capitalists´ Committee.
Outside of work Mr. Kawczynski enjoys travel, horseback riding, and skiing however spends most of his free time taking care of his two little daughters hoping they’ll soon be big enough to join him in these extracurricular activities.
