Zakir Hussein Niamut

Zakir is Head of Strategic Planning at SM.
He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK.
He is also a Chartered Secretary from the UK Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.
He has more than 30 years of experience in the field of accounting and finance.
Prior to joining SANNE in August 2000, he was the Financial Accountant of a textile manufacturing company where he worked for more than 6 years.
He has also worked for a medium sized firm of chartered accountants.
He previously led a team of 18 people having the responsibility for a portfolio of more than 150 entities, including collective investment schemes, closed-end funds, investment holding companies, trusts, foundations and domestic companies before taking the role of Head of Strategic Planning.
He has been exposed to the main areas of the industry including legal, tax, administration and corporate secretarial fields.
He sits on the Board of a number of global business companies.
