Resignation of Chairman

The Board of Directors (the "Board") of Sinopec Oilfield Service Corporation (the "Company") announces that, due to change of working arrangement, Mr. Liu Zhongyun has tendered his resignation to the Board as Chairman of the Board, the non- executive Director and Chairman of Strategy Committee of the Board (the "Resignation"), with effect from 9 December 2019. Mr. Chen Xikun, Vice Chairman of the Board, will perform the duties of Chairman of the Board with immediate effect until a new Chairman of the Board is elected.

Mr. Liu Zhongyun has confirmed that he has no disagreement with the Board and there are no other matters relating to his Resignation that need to be brought to the attention of shareholders of the Company.

Mr. Liu Zhongyun was diligent and responsible during his tenure, and played a significant role in improving the corporate governance and sustainable development of the Company. The Board would like to express its gratitude to him for his hard working and outstanding contribution to the Company.
