CALGARY, Alberta (AP) _ Imperial Oil Ltd. (IMO) on Friday reported fourth-quarter earnings of $205.3 million.

On a per-share basis, the Calgary, Alberta-based company said it had net income of 27 cents.

The results met Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for earnings of 27 cents per share.

The oil and gas and petroleum products company posted revenue of $6.18 billion in the period.

For the year, the company reported profit of $1.66 billion, or $2.17 per share. Revenue was reported as $25.73 billion.

Imperial Oil shares have fallen roughly 8% since the beginning of the year. The stock has dropped 14% in the last 12 months.
