As the COVID-19 pandemic continues across the U.S. and abroad Amazon is beefing up protection for its workers.

The top online retailer will begin taking the temperature of employees across its entire operations as well as its supermarkets, including Whole Foods, in full force. It also said it will provide protective face masks this week as well, according to a CNBC report.

The announcements come after complaints from workers fearing for their own health while at work.

The omnichannel retailer also has hired 80,000 of the 100,000 staff expansion announced in March.
