ITEM 2.02 Results of Operations and Financial Condition

On July 28, 2020, Southern Copper Corporation ("SCC") issued a press release announcing financial results for the quarter ended on June 30, 2020. In this press release, SCC reported that on July 23, 2020, the Board of Directors authorized a dividend of $0.40 per share payable on August 25, 2020, to shareholders of record at the close of business on August 12, 2020. A copy of this press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
