The executive officers and directors have agreed, with certain specified exceptions, not to engage in the following activities for a period of 60 days after the date of this prospectus supplement, without obtaining prior written consent from the representatives: They will not directly or indirectly sell, offer, contract, or grant any option to sell (including any short sale), pledge, transfer, or establish an open "put equivalent position" as defined by Rule 16a-1(h) under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended. The Company’s lead product candidate, SAB-142, is a human anti-thymocyte globulin (ATG) focused on preventing or delaying the progression of T1D. SAB-142 is expected to reduce autoimmune beta cell destruction and delay progression or onset of T1D in patients with Stage III or Stage II T1D. The Company’s genetic engineering platform produces human, multi-targeted, high-potency immunoglobulins, without the need for human donors or convalescent plasma.
