Leslie Palti-Guzman is a non-resident Fellow at the Center on Global Energy Policy. She is Director of Global Gas at The Rapidan Group. She leads coverage on global natural gas markets, liquefied natural gas (LNG), cross-border pipeline politics, and unconventional gas. Leslie's expertise is global, with a strong regional focus on Asia, North America, the European Union, Eastern Mediterranean, Russia, and Qatar.

Prior to joining The Rapidan Group, Leslie was a senior analyst at Eurasia Group in the Global Energy & Natural Resources team, where she led the global gas coverage with a particular emphasis on geopolitics, suppliers' export strategies, pricing evolution, and regulatory framework. Leslie has also served as the senior natural gas and LNG correspondent at Energy Intelligence Group in New York. She covered LNG markets in the Atlantic Basin, European unconventional gas, and European security of gas supply. Her articles were published in the company's several publications, including World Gas Intelligence, International Oil Daily, Petroleum Intelligence Weekly, and Energy Compass.

Jay Copan is serving as the Executive Director for the 27th World Gas Conference. He has been affiliated with AGA for 35 years, most of which as a senior vice president. Mr. Copan also serves as the Special Advisor to the President of the International Gas Union (IGU). IGU is the global association representing the gas industries of 91 countries.

The World Gas Conference 2018

From June 25-29, 2018, the triennial event will be held in the USA for the first time in 30 years and for the first time ever the conference will include a Financial Forum - designed to provide a variety of opportunities for representatives of the financial community to meet with the senior executives of all of the global publicly traded gas and gas-related firms that will be in attendance.
