The permission to conduct banking business had already been granted by BaFin in mid-2019 and came into force on January 02, 2020. Since the long-standing, trustful cooperation with flatex Bank AG will continue in the new constellation, the proven cooperation with our customers, business partners and flatex Bank AG will remain most widely unchanged. Gaining momentum from the successful year 2019 with placements of a total volume of around EUR 275 million as lead bank - including the IPO of Frequentis AG, one of the very few successful IPOs in Germany - BankM is thus well positioned for the future development. Important milestone to continue successful development in the long-term The successful licensing process is an important milestone in BankM's history. Launched in 2007 with seven founding partners in a small 15-square-metre office, BankM today is firmly established on the capital market as a corporate finance specialist with an unusually broad range of banking services. Wherever strategic decisions are made in the international capital market, BankM's interdisciplinary team supports German SMEs with individual services, innovative solutions and consistent contacts.
