BEIJING, Nov 17 (Reuters) - China has called for fostering "new growth engines" in its cooperation with Peru, Chinese state media cited Chinese President Xi Jinping saying after a meeting with his Peruvian counterpart Dina Boluarte.
Xi said both countries should synergise development strategies, strengthen cooperation in areas such as the economy, trade, energy and mineral resources, and that China is ready to import more high-quality Peruvian agricultural products and encourage its enterprises to participate in major Peruvian projects.
