Consumer Price Index : November 2021

• The Consumer Price Index was 109.41(2015=100) in November 2021. The index increased 0.4 percent from the preceding month and rose 3.7 percent from the same month of the previous year.
• The index excluding food and energy was 107.88 in November 2021. The index increased 0.1 percent from the preceding month and rose 1.9 percent from the same month of the previous year.

• The Consumer Price Index by expenditure category in November 2021 was below.
• The index for Food and non-alcoholic beverages, Clothing and footwear, Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels, Furnishings, household equipment & routine maintenance, Health, Transport, Communication, and Restaurants and hotels increased 0.5 percent, 1.3 percent, 0.2 percent, 0.3 percent, 0.1 percent, 2.0 percent, 0.6 percent, and 0.5 percent respectively from the preceding month.
• The index for Recreation and culture, and Miscellaneous goods and services decreased 1.6 percent, and 0.5 percent respectively from the preceding month.
• The index for Alcoholic beverages and tobacco, and Education remained unchanged from the preceding month.
