FRANKFURT (Reuters) - A new Chief Executive will take over at Daimler Truck after Martin Daum's contract ends next year, the head of the German truck maker's supervisory board said on Wednesday.

"Martin's contract ends in February 2025, so today is his last Annual General Meeting," Supervisory Board Chairman Joe Kaeser told shareholders at a virtual meeting.

"He leaves behind a well-run company and plenty of room for his successor."
