Earnings season. Adidas, Inditex, Prudential, E.ON, Boiron, Avast, Lagardère, ID Logistics, Mersen, Leonardo, Innogy, Verbund or WM Morrison are among companies reporting in Europe. Progressive Corp and Pinduoduo in the United States.

The FAA behind Boeing. In the United States, the civil aviation police officer sees no reason to prevent Boeing's B737 MAX from flying, while the aircraft was grounded in several other regions, including Europe, after the Ethiopian Airlines crash. This does not prevent passengers and flight crews from refusing to board the aircraft on the other side of the Atlantic.

Blackstone to sell Frankfurt business complex. Blackstone Group is looking to sell a large business complex at Frankfurt airport, according to people with knowledge of the matter quoted by Bloomberg. The price is estimated at 800 million euros ($904 million), The Squaire was the largest property owned by OfficeFirst, the German real-estate company acquired by Blackstone in 2017.

In Italy. Salvatore Ferragamo and Mediaset saw their results decline. The luxury group is penalized by the costs of reorganizing its activities to boost growth. As for the media company, it says it is burdened by the economic slowdown in Italy and by the uncertainties ahead of the European elections in May.

Adidas disappoints. By announcing that its sales will not grow as fast as expected this year, Adidas has disappointed investors, who sanction the stock's decline by more than 5% to EUR 198.70  in Frankfurt, in substantial volumes. The German sports textile champion puts this (slight) hit on the account of supply difficulties.

Spotify vs. Apple. The Swede company filed a complaint against Apple before the European Commission for abuse of a dominant position. Spotify criticizes Apple's fees for using its payment system.

VW warns. Volkswagen has warned that the electric vehicle will lead to job losses. The group revealed yesterday that it plans to launch about 70 new electric models by 2028.
It's a gift. In the United Kingdom, if the business world looks grey, WM Morrison's shareholders are smiling. The distributor continues its recovery and will pay an exceptional dividend of GBP 4 in addition to its final coupon of GBP 4.75. Jefferies remains a buyer by targeting GBP 265.

Preventive suspension. Wirecard suspended an accountant in Singapore for the duration of the ongoing investigation, according to statements made by its CEO to Reuters. The group was shaken by Financial Times revelations last month, but refuted them by recalling that an internal investigation had cleared the employee concerned.
