ARLINGTON, Va. - The Healthcare Distribution Alliance (HDA) announced that Greg Drew, RPh, President of Value Drug Company, and Robert Mauch, PhD, PharmD, EVP and Group President of AmerisourceBergen Corporation, were recently elected to second terms as Chairman and Vice Chairman of the HDA Board of Directors.

Additionally, Saul Factor, RPh, President, Smith Drug Company, a Division of J M Smith Corporation, has joined the HDA Executive Committee, replacing Ted Scherr of Dakota Drug, who has stepped down after 10 years of leadership. Mr. Factor joins fellow Executive Committee members Victor Crawford, CEO Pharmaceutical Segment, Cardinal Health, Inc.; Paul Dickson, President, Morris & Dickson Co., L.L.C.; Chad Gielen, President/CEO, Louisiana Wholesale Drug Co. Inc.; and Kirk Kaminsky, President, Pharmaceutical Solutions & Services, McKesson Corporation, to execute HDA priorities, policies and positions as developed by its Board of Directors.
