BANGKOK, Oct 3 (Reuters) - Thailand's Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin said on Tuesday the weak baht currency could be beneficial to the economy, helping boost tourism and exports.

The central bank is monitoring the situation, he said. The baht fell to an 11-month low against the dollar at 37.095 earlier on Tuesday.
