'The goal is peace' -Ecuador's Noboa says homicide rates down

STORY: Noboa was in Quito on Monday to provide new equipment to police in their fight against organized crime.

Among the new equipment handed over during the ceremony are 3,000 bulletproof vests, 1,752 communication equipment and four robots for anti-explosive work, local media reported.
