BEIJING (AP) _ 21Vianet Group Inc. (VNET) on Wednesday reported a loss of $300.5 million in its second quarter.

The Beijing-based company said it had a loss of $2.70 per share.

The provider of carrier-neutral internet data center services posted revenue of $161.9 million in the period.

21Vianet shares have more than tripled since the beginning of the year. The stock has more than tripled in the last 12 months.
