A source at the agency told ICIS that Turkey's privatization administration, ÖIB, will select one out of four companies that have submitted bids in a tender for the acquisition of Hamitabat Elektrik Üretim ve Ticaret A.S. The four bidders that have been shortlisted in the tender are Karkey Karadeniz Elektrik Uretim A S, Enerjisa Enerji Üretim A.S., Limak Dogalgaz Elektrik Üretim A.S. and ACWA Power International. OIB is expected to announce the winner after October 19, 2012. Hamitabat was lined up for privatization in 2011 but the tender was unsuccessful due to equity related issues.
