(Alliance News) - Aeroporto Guglielmo Marconi di Bologna Spa reported Tuesday that passengers in November totaled 646,532, up 12 percent year-on-year but down 9.3 percent from the same month in 2019, the last year before the arrival of the Covid-19 pandemic.

In detail, passengers on domestic flights, at 152,083 and up 16 percent over November 2022 and 2.0 percent over November 2019, increased, while passengers on international flights, at 494,449, were up over 2022 by 11 percent but down over 2019, by 12 percent.

Movements, at 5,114, were also up on 2022 by 14 percent and down on 2019 by 7.9 percent while air cargo was 3,566 tons by 8.3 percent on 2022 and 8.8 percent on 2019.

In January-November, total passengers were 9.3 million, up 18 percent over the same period in 2022 and 7.0 percent over the same period in 2019. In the first 11 months, there were 68,466 movements, up 13% over 2022 and 1.8% over 2019. Air cargo transported from January to November was 37,900 tons, down 4.0% on 2022 and up 8.3 on 2019.

Bologna's Aeroporto Guglielmo Marconi stock closed Tuesday up 0.2 percent at EUR8.26 per share.
