Algoa FM is celebrating the return of live concerts by international acts to South Africa by giving their audience the opportunity to experience One Republic live in Cape Town on November 15.

Three lucky Algoa FM listeners will each win a trip for two to experience One Republic live at the Grand Arena at GrandWest Casino.

The prize includes flights, accommodation, and spending money.

"The timing couldn't be better, as One Republic is once again in the Billboard top 10 on the Hot 100," says Algoa FM music compiler Charl Leslie.

The hit "I Ain't Worried" features in the beach football scene of the hit movie Top Gun: Maverick.

It has been on the Hot 100 for 13 weeks.

"One Republic has proven to be very popular among our listeners and we're excited to be celebrating the return of live music to big stages, simultaneously offering our listeners a great experience," says Algoa FM managing director Alfie Jay.

"In this genre, the band is a personal favourite and our three lucky listeners and their chosen plus one's are in for a real treat".

According to marketing manager Lesley Geyer, listeners qualify by sending a Telegram message every time they hear a song by One Republic played on the station.

The competition opens on Monday September 19 and will close on September 25.

The competition details are available at www.algoafm.co.za
