Agilent Technologies Inc. announced new LC/MS and GC/MS quadrupole mass spectrometers which will be on show at the 70th ASMS Conference on Mass Spectrometry and Allied Topics being held June 5 - 9, 2022 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Agilent 6475 triple quadrupole LC/MS system, 5977C GC/MSD, plus the 7000E GC/TQ and the 7010C GC/TQ represent the latest revolution in Agilent's 50-plus year history in mass spectrometry. The new LC/TQ and GC/TQ products offer built-in instrument intelligence to simplify lab operations.

The new GC/SQ and GC/TQ products with the HydroInert source help customers overcome key performance challenges with Hydrogen carrier gas. For routine quantitative analysis, the Agilent 6475 triple quadrupole LC/MS system is the next evolution in sensitive, rugged, robust mass spectrometer. The 6475 incorporates intelligent reflex, an automated sample reinjection function that intelligently 'reflexes' to specific analysis conditions providing immediate validation of results, further improving the speed of analysis and reducing operator involvement.

Coupled with 6475, the latest revision of MassHunter Acquisition 12.0 enables data integrity consistent with the regulatory requirements as defined in 21 CFR Part 11 and Annex 11, a key requirement for pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical manufacturing customers. The Agilent 5977C GC/MSD system is the latest in trusted single quadrupole GC/MS instruments. The introduction of HydroInert source in the 5977C allows customers to explore hydrogen as a viable alternative to helium as a carrier gas for GC/MS with minimal impact on performance and minimizing dependence on helium as a non-renewable resource.

Also introduced were the Agilent 7000E and 7010C triple quadrupole GC/MS systems, the latest iterations of the popular GC/MS family used across many market segments. The 7000E GC/TQ is a robust and reliable instrument providing optimum operational efficiency for high-throughput labs. The 7010C GC/TQ has been designed to address the most challenging analyses, providing the lowest detection limits to the attogram level.

Additionally, through Agilent's partnership with My Green Lab, each of these instruments has been independently audited for their Accountability, Consistency, and Transparency (ACT) Label, which provides a baseline and framework for continuous improvement on how Agilent products are impacting the environment. ACT makes it easier for customers to choose more sustainable products for their labs.
