AGR to address integrated upstream solutions at ADIPEC 2016Published 04.11.2016
AGR is delighted to be a part of the upcoming ADIPEC 2016 show being held in Abu Dhabi from 7th - 10th November.
AGR has long had a presence throughout the Middle East and has supported the oil and gas companies and license owners on extracting the maximum of their upstream assets. AGR's main target at ADIPEC 2016 is to introduce its integrated solutions for the upstream industry with special focus on petroleum software and training. We already have solidly established Well and Reservoir Management business units in the region supporting clients from our Dubai and Abu Dhabi offices. 'Our company is the largest independent well drilling management company in the industry having managed more than 500 well projects globally since 2000. AGR is unique in the fact that the company's offering covers the entire upstream life cycle. We also offer a substantial reservoir management capability, having concluded more than 1,500 reservoir studies in various conventional and unconventional hydrocarbon types, including many in the GCC area, still ongoing,' says AGR's Middle East Regional Manager, Iain Morrison. 'Both our software tools and technical training courses have been tailor-made according to our clients' feedback and challenges. For example, our latest software tool, iQx TIME, helps drilling teams to analyse historic and actual well data helping to identify operational trends and where optimisation and improvement of drilling efficiency lies. Digitalising wells is becoming more and more important but provides value only if behavioural patterns encourage reuse of recorded data.' AGR aims to overcome the user barrier of effectively using data and enables automated management of well data. It currently offers four data platforms for probabilistic risk and time planning, cost monitoring, well planning and materials movement. AGR's training division was established in 1993 and has delivered technical and commercial courses to more than 25,000 industry professionals in 45 countries. 'The ethos of the training business is to combine experiential learning in the field with classroom teaching of theory,' says Morrison. 'Each of the courses is put together according to the client's requirements and needs often creating additional value by having the teams interactively communicating with each other.' AGR targets clients all over the GCC region by offering well construction and drilling project management, reservoir consultancy and independent asset audits, field development and facilities engineering in addition to software, training and technical manpower. AGR has worked with ADMA, ADNOC and many other NOC's and IOC's in the region delivering well optimisation, well verification, drilling project management and reservoir management support.
AGR's expertise will be showcased at our booth # 9134, as part of the Norwegian pavilion.
