APPOINTMENT OF EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT

Reference is made to the announcement on the resolution of the board of directors (the "Board") of Agricultural Bank of China Limited (the "Bank") dated 12 October 2021. Mr. ZHANG Yi was appointed as an executive vice president of the Bank at the meeting of the Board held on 12 October 2021, subject to the ratification of his qualification by the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission (the "CBIRC").

The Bank received the Approval on the Qualification of Mr. ZHANG Yi of Agricultural Bank of China Limited (Yin Bao Jian Fu [2021] No. 856) from the CBIRC recently. Mr. ZHANG Yi's term of office to serve as an executive vice president of the Bank shall commence from 4 November 2021.
