Aguas Andinas S.A. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was CLP 142,109.25 million compared to CLP 137,522.9 million a year ago. Net income was CLP 22,059.59 million compared to CLP 10,731.19 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was CLP 3.605 compared to CLP 1.754 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was CLP 475,235.52 million compared to CLP 418,745.5 million a year ago. Net income was CLP 96,482.38 million compared to CLP 54,430.9 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was CLP 15.768 compared to CLP 8.895 a year ago.
Aguas Andinas SA is a Chile-based company engaged in the provision of sanitation services. The Company operates in two business segments: Water and Non-water. The Water division provides services related to the distribution and supply of drinking water, as well as the collection and treatment of sewage water. The Non-water division includes services related to environmental analysis, industrial waste treatment, engineering services, as well as distribution of equipment for sanitation and energy projects. The Company operates through a number of subsidiaries, such as Aguas Cordillera SA, Aguas del Maipo SA, Essal SA, Gestion y Servicios SA and EcoRiles SA. The Company is indirectly controlled by Suez SA through Inversiones Aguas Metropolitanas SA.
