(MT Newswires) -- Emirates Airlines Chairman Tim Clark says the Boeing 787 is not a short-term solution at the moment, as he discusses the airline's fleet expansion discussions with aircraft manufacturers at the World Aviation Festival in Lisbon. Emirates is starting to take delivery of 50 Airbus A350s, and is seriously considering the A350-1000. The Boeing 777-9 will be considered in a few years' time to replace the A380s.
