Aker Technology Co. Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2020. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 100.908 million compared to TWD 113.983 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 1.732 million compared to TWD 551,000 a year ago. Net income was TWD 181,000 compared to TWD 179,000 a year ago.
AKER TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture, processing and distribution of quartz crystal products. The Companyâs primary products include quartz crystal units, quartz crystal filters, quartz crystal oscillators and surface mount device (SMD) quartz crystal units and crystal oscillators. The Companyâs products are mainly used in the manufacture of computers, remote control toys, television (TV) games, wireless phones, Internet communication applications, consumer electronics, automotive electronics, pagers, mobile phones, very high frequency (VHF) wireless receivers and global positioning system (GPS) receivers. The Company mainly operates its businesses in Taiwan, Hong Kong, the Mainland China and Europe.
