Alfa, S. A. B. De C. V. Announced earnings results for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2020. For the fourth quarter, the company announced sales was MXN 66,329.095 million compared to MXN 64,139.097 million a year ago. Operating income was MXN 4,729.243 million compared to MXN 5,794.328 million a year ago. Net loss was MXN 1,223.487 million compared to net income of MXN 1,560.408 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was MXN 0.25 compared to basic earnings per share of MXN 0.31 a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was MXN 1.78 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of MXN 0.16 a year ago. For the full year, sales was MXN 263,866.696 million compared to MXN 260,400.616 million a year ago. Operating income was MXN 17,566.076 million compared to MXN 18,218.655 million a year ago. Net income was MXN 3,928.687 million compared to MXN 5,806.823 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was MXN 0.8 compared to MXN 1.15 a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was MXN 0.59 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of MXN 0.72 a year ago.
