DUBLIN (AP) — DUBLIN (AP) — Alkermes PLC (ALKS) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter net income of $112.8 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.

The Dublin-based company said it had profit of 66 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 48 cents per share.

The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 46 cents per share.

The drugmaker posted revenue of $377.5 million in the period, which also beat Street forecasts. Seven analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $361.2 million.

For the year, the company reported net income of $355.8 million, or $2.10 per share, swinging to a profit in the period. Revenue was reported as $1.66 billion.

Alkermes expects full-year revenue in the range of $1.5 billion to $1.6 billion.

Alkermes shares have climbed roughly 1% since the beginning of the year. The stock has risen 1% in the last 12 months.
