Allied Circuit Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2018. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 640.903 million compared to TWD 651.348 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 98.085 million compared to TWD 114.682 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 79.750 million compared to TWD 94.687 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share were TWD 1.61 compared to TWD 1.9 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share were TWD 1.58 compared to TWD 1.9 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales were TWD 2,125.240 million compared to TWD 1,681.965 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 408.779 million compared to TWD 250.533 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 327.203 million compared to TWD 202.322 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share were TWD 6.58 compared to TWD 4.06 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share were TWD 6.52 compared to TWD 4.05 a year ago.
Allied Circuit Co Ltd is principally engaged in the manufacture and distribution of printed circuit boards (PCBs). The Company primarily provides multi-layer PCBs and high density interconnect (HDI) boards. The Company's double-sided PCBs are mainly used in terminals, fax machines, computer peripheral equipment, industrial instruments and general communications equipment, among others. Its multi-layer PCBs are mainly applied in computer and related peripherals, consumer electronics, data storage devices, servers, computer workstations, precise testers, communications equipment, industrial control instruments and medical devices, among others. The Company mainly distributes its products to domestic and Asia market.
