Amazon announced Wednesday that its annual Prime Day sales event will be held from June 21-22, which its says will offer over 2 millions deals across every product category, according to a press release.

The event, which has typically been held in the summer timeframe, was held in October 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Prime Day will also feature millions of deals from the small and medium-sized retailers that sell on the Amazon e-commerce platform.

As part of Amazon's investment of more than $100 million to help small business sellers succeed, Prime members can get a $10 credit to spend on Prime Day when they spend $10 on items sold by select small businesses in Amazon's store from June 7 to June 20

"Prime Day is a celebration of our Prime members, and we're excited to bring members great deals across an incredible selection, whether members want to shop and save on top brands, buzzworthy items, or small business collections," Jamil Ghani, vice president of Amazon Prime, said in the release. "Since we launched Prime Day in 2015, it's delivered great new ways to shop, gift, watch movies and TV, and even dance, and we're excited to carry on that tradition."
