Ambev S.A. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was BRL 18,898.11 million compared to BRL 17,989 million a year ago. Net income was BRL 2,502.97 million compared to BRL 2,969.74 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was BRL 0.15894 compared to BRL 0.18863 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was BRL 0.15795 compared to BRL 0.1873 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was BRL 39,429.86 million compared to BRL 36,428.15 million a year ago. Net income was BRL 6,202.55 million compared to BRL 6,382.52 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was BRL 0.39393 compared to BRL 0.40544 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was BRL 0.39147 compared to BRL 0.40257 a year ago.
