ams-OSRAM AG (SWX:AMS) is planning to offload more operations after agreeing several disposals as part of its portfolio realignment. The company has already unveiled three disposals and dissolved the joint venture between Osram and automotive supplier Continental AG. Last year, the Fluence horticulture lighting systems business was sold to Signify NV, formerly known as Philips Lighting, for $272 million (€238.4m) while the North American digital systems unit was divested to US lighting solutions provider Acuity Brands Inc. The group is now preparing to divest the business related to the former joint venture with Continental, Chief Executive Officer Alexander Everke said on February 8, 2022.

Ams took over Osram Licht two years ago after a long battle and delisted the German company from the stock market.
