LATHAM, N.Y. (AP) _ AngioDynamics Inc. (ANGO) on Thursday reported a loss of $5 million in its fiscal third quarter.

The Latham, New York-based company said it had a loss of 13 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 3 cents per share.

The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 1 cent per share.

The medical device maker posted revenue of $74 million in the period, which missed Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $76.3 million.

AngioDynamics expects full-year results to range from a loss of 2 cents per share to earnings of 2 cents per share, with revenue in the range of $310 million to $315 million.

AngioDynamics shares have decreased 22% since the beginning of the year. The stock has decreased 10% in the last 12 months.
