Edenville Energy proposes name change to Shuka Resources

Edenville Energy PLC - African focused mine operator and developer - Proposes name change to Shuka Resources PLC, which it says "better reflects the company's key focus in Africa".

Shuka is the Swahili word for a colourful cloth worn by the Maasai people of East Africa. Edenville is focused on mining operations in Tanzania - also in East Africa.

The name change is subject to the approval of shareholders at a general meeting.

Chief Executive Officer Noel Lyons says: "The proposed rebranding as Shuka Resources PLC signifies our commitment to the company's existing strategy, emphasising the investment and development of mining assets in Africa. This transition marks an exciting period of growth and progress for us in the months to come."
