For the period, the company reported net sales of JPY 34,535 million compared with JPY 29,822 million a year ago. The company's net sales increased by 10.8% (JPY 2,550 million) year on year, to JPY 26,158 million, resulting from successful sales and marketing efforts focusing on a ‘customer-first' approach. Operating income was JPY 6,573 million compared with JPY 4,698 million a year ago.
