Artprice has opened Version 2 of its revolutionary search engine Artprice Search®. The initial results are very positive better than Artprice expected in fact: on more than 323 searches, of which 36% are 'structured' (i.e. several words, or a whole sentence), 98.80% of clients are satisfied. Initial V2 results suggest a very considerable positive impact on sales. Already in July of 2017, the beta version (V1) of this search engine triggered a 34% increase in sales. Version 2 of Artprice Search - directly accessible from the Artprice homepage - is a veritable 'killer app' in the cosy world of the Art Market where Artprice has been the undisputed leader in Art Market information for the past 20 years. All of Artprice's IT infrastructures and white rooms on three continents (North America, Europe and Asia), have switched without the slightest problem, generating an 80% acceleration in page displays from its databanks containing hundreds of millions of hi-res photos and texts, enhancing client comfort, particularly on mobile internet (90% of Artprice searches). The second version (V2) consults hundreds of internal and external resources. Its access from homepage obeys Artprice's marketing rule that Artprice Search® should be directly accessible without any further clicks. The third version (V3) is already being developed and should be deployed at the end of September. It prefigures Blockchain and OTC Market© (Artprice protected). According to thierry Ehrmann, Artprice and its databanks are now equipped with a proprietary search engine that captures a wider audience by efficiently processing almost any input language. Artprice users will now get intuitive search results in spite of input errors regarding the artist's name, the work, the media, or any other market-based criteria.
