Paris, France - December 6, 2021

Atos today announces that its Global Accessibility and Digital Inclusion Policy, Governance & Program has been selected for a Zero Project 2022 Award. The Zero Project is an initiative of the Austrian Essl Foundation focused on the rights of people with disabilities globally. This year's awards sought to identify Innovative Practices and Policies from civil society, the public sector, the business sector and the ICT sector, from around the world focused on enabling accessibility. 160 Innovative Practices and Policies from 54 countries made it to the coveted shortlist this year from which 76 will be awarded.

Atos' Global Accessibility and Digital Inclusion Program is a transversal program, consisting of three topical areas: Inclusive Business Growth, Operational Excellence & Compliance and Connected Ecosystems with 7 workstreams that touch every area of its business. These workstreams are: Clients, Business Partners, Portfolio, Atos Systems & Process, Employee Experience, Communications and Social Partners.

Neil Milliken, Vice President, Atos Group Accessibility & DigitalInclusion said "I am delighted that our systematic inclusion program has been selected as a best practice for accessibility by Zero Project. It is a testament to the vision, dedication and hard work of my colleagues to implement the program. The systematic focus on inclusion in the configuration of our solutions can be seen in our Digital Workplace experience solutions."

Dr. Michael Fembek, Director of the Zero Project said "We truly appreciate the attention and detail Atos applies to disability inclusion and its accessibility work. As a result, we are delighted that the Zero Project network - experts with and without disabilities - sees and confirms this impact as well and has selected Atos as a Zero Project Awardee 2022."

The Zero Project 2022 awards received 381 nominations from 86 countries in total. It is awarded collectively by disability inclusion experts from all around the world, who in several peer review rounds have come together - and have agreed - that the selected program shows impact, innovation, and replicability.

The Zero Project was initiated by the Essl Foundation in 2008, with its mission centered around the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) of the United Nations and its commitment to a world without barriers.
