Aurrigo International plc has signed an agreement with the Digital Testbed Air Cargo Project Consortium ("DTAC") to deploy the Company's Auto-DollyTug at Munich International Airport for autonomous cargo transport trials. This agreement follows on the recent project announcement with DTAC at Stuttgart Airport. Auto-DollyTug is scheduled to be deployed in second quarter 2024, with results published in third quarter 2024.

The project is being funded by the German Federal Ministry of Digital and Transport (BMDV) and will be carried out under the academic leadership of the Fraunhofer IML (Institute for Material Flow and Logistics) and the Frankfurt University of Applied Science as part of the Digital Testbed Air Cargo project. The Auto-DollyTug combines the utility of a baggage /cargo tractor, with the ULD carrying capability of an airport dolly, making a more flexible and space efficient vehicle. This means that a combination of an Auto-DollyTug and three trailers carries four ULDs or over 30% more than a traditional tug set-up of the same overall length.
