AutoWallis Nyilvánosan Muködo Részvénytársaság and Grupo Salvador Caetano, SA entered into an agreement to acquire Renault Hungaria Gepjarmukereskedelmi Korlatolt Felelossegu Tarsasag from Renault SA.

AutoWallis Nyilvánosan Muködo Részvénytársaság (BUSE:AUTOWALLIS) and Grupo Salvador Caetano (SGPS), SA entered into an agreement to acquire Renault Hungaria Gepjarmukereskedelmi Korlatolt Felelossegu Tarsasag from Renault SA (ENXTPA:RNO) on April 7, 2022. The transaction is submitted to the approval of the relevant competition authorities. In year 2021, Renault Hungaria reported revenue of HUF 70.3 billion.

AutoWallis and the Salvador Caetano Group are creating a new company, i.e, AutoWallis Caetano with each holding a 50% stake, to purchase, after the approval of the competition authority. The start of operations of the new organization is scheduled for July 1st, 2022. The Hungarian Competition Authority (GVH) has given its approval to AutoWallis Caetano Holding to acquire Renault Hungaria.
