The contribution to revenue and gross profit by paper mill business and power plant business remained comparable with fourth quarter 2015. The increase in operating and maintenance income was mainly due to higher volume of electrical energy take-up by Electric Power Generation Enterprise (previously known as Myanma Electric Power Enterprise). For the full year, the company reported revenue of SGD 63,347,000 against SGD 61,103,000 a year ago. Profit before income tax was SGD 13,144,000 against SGD 13,255,000 a year ago. The contribution to revenue and gross profit by paper mill business and power plant business remained comparable with 2015.
