Avingtrans plc announced that its chairman Roger McDowell is taking a temporary sabbatical from work for family health reasons with immediate effect. He will resume his duties in September of this year. During the period, McDowell will remain a Director of the company.
In the interim, Les Thomas, a senior independent director, will take over as the chairman of the company, effective immediately.
