Balkrishna Industries Limited announced audited consolidated and standalone earnings results for the year ended March 31, 2019. For the year, on standalone basis, the company’s total income was INR 54,587.1 million against INR 48,006.7 million a year ago. Profit after tax was INR 7,820.0 million against INR 7,392.5 million a year ago. Basic earnings per equity share was INR 40.45 against INR 38.24 a year ago.
For the year, on consolidated basis, the company’s total income was INR 54,281.6 million against INR 48,007.2 million a year ago. Profit after tax was INR 7,736.5 million against INR 7,357.9 million a year ago. Basic earnings per equity share was INR 40.02 against INR 38.06 a year ago.
Balkrishna Industries Limited is an India-based company that is engaged in the business of manufacturing and selling of off-highway tires (OHT) in the specialist segments, such as agricultural, industrial and construction, earthmovers and port, mining, forestry, lawn and garden and all-terrain vehicles (ATV). The Companyâs agricultural applications include tractor, harvester, implements, telehandler, agro truck, go-kart, golf kart, mower, fertilizer truck, compact loader, backhoe loader, mobile home, and universal vehicle.
