Banco del Caribe, C.A., Banco Universal reported earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2023. For the first quarter, the company reported net interest income was VES 140.06 million. Net income was VES 90.6 million.
Banco del Caribe CA Banco Universal (Bancaribe) is a Venezuela-based financial institution primarily engaged in the banking sector. The Bankâs products and services include current and savings accounts, fixed-term deposits, consumer and commercial loans, mortgages, credit and debit cards, currency exchange, cash management and other banking operations to businesses and individuals. As of December 31, 2011, the Bank owned such subsidiaries as Banco de la Gente Emprendedora CA (Bangente) and Sociedad Administradora del Caribe de Entidades de Inversion Colectiva SA, as well as it also held minor stakes in Consorcio Credicard CA and Promotora Newco CA, and Grupo Dao which was its majority shareholder with 51.23% of its interest.
